How does it work?

Lactobacillus are a group of bacterial strains, also known as probiotics, that live in the large and small intestine.These bacteria exert many health benefits including the maintenance of intestinal health through preventing colonisation of pathogenic (disease causing) microorganisms and carrying out a variety of biochemical functions within the body.2

What results can be expected?

Probiotic supplementation including lactobacillus helps restore ‘good intestinal bacteria’ particularly after antibiotic use when both ‘good and bad’ bacteria has been killled.3 Research has shown certain strains of lactobacillus helps to treat general digestive discomfort, children and traveller’s diarrhoea as well as improving inflammatory bowel diseases and symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) such as bloating, intestinal cramping, constipation and diarrhoea.4
