Echinacea spp.

How does it work?

Echinacea is a western herbal medicine used for its immune stimulant, immune modulating, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and lymphatic actions, particularly in respiratory, urinary and digestive systems.1 It contains a complex variety of chemical constituents that vary from each echinacea subspecies to offer its powerful role in boosting immunity.2

What results can be expected?

Echinacea is useful for the prevention and treatment of acute bacterial and viral infections such as the common cold, influenza, sinusitis, streptococcal throat, urinary tract infections and digestive infections.3 It also may assist in modulating the immune system in allergies and autoimmune conditions.4
