Cordyceps Sinensis

How does it work?

Cordyceps is a medicinal fungus used in western and traditional chinese medicine.1 It has been shown to have adaptogenic, antioxidant, neuroprotective, aphrodisiac, anticancer, immunomodulatory and hepatoprotective actions. This is partly due to its main constituent, Cordycepin, which has demonstrated potent anti-cancer, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actvities in various research.3

What results can be expected?

Cordyceps may assist in strengthening the immune system, improving athletic performance by increasing stamina and endurance and therefore help reduce fatigue.4 In some studies, Cordyceps may also assist in treating kidney disorders, male sexual problems, anaemia and liver disorders.5
